Campus is very pretty, full of lakes, lots of geese and a cute swan couple! The professors aren’t too heavy on the workload and love the college because of how small the classes are so students and professors really get the chance to connect. The area nearby is great because Morrow has a lot of great food around it, and many areas to shop! There’s even an event area right outside the Southlake Mall. Pretty safe campus, lots of people everywhere and there’s always police/security patrolling the campus. Even though I didn’t get any scholarships to attend by signing up on websites, I still got the Hope scholarship along with the Pell grant from filling out the FAFSA. The school had awarded me a 1k scholarship! It really helps college become more affordable.

Clayton State is an amazing school to attend. If you want to be a nurse, I HIGHLY urge you to seriously consider the BSN program here. It is absolutely top notch and I am so lucky to be apart of it. As someone who transferred from a much larger university in Georgia, I can easily say I have loved my experience here more than anything. Now, if you are looking into the college experience I can’t speak much for that, but at an academic perspective, the nursing program cannot be beat!
