Catherine Loreti 2024 Stephen A. Glenske 1924 — 2024 Stephen A. Glenske, Schuyler, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Lutheran Home, just 3 days shy of his 100th birthday. Born on August 10, 1924, on his family's farm in Schuyler, Stephen was the son of the late Joseph and Apolonia (Bonczyk) Glenske. He was a graduate of Proctor High School. On October 20, 1966, Stephen married Mary T. Irwin, a blessed union of 18 years until her passing in January of 1984. He proudly served his country as a Tech Sergeant in the U.S. Army, displaying exceptional dedication and courage during his time in the 41st Infantry Division, 186th Regiment, 2nd Battalion, HQ Company. She grew up in New York Mills and was a graduate of New York Mills High School. Jacqueline was married to Walter Wojtanowski, Jr. on June 11, 1960, in Whitesboro, a loving union of over 45 years prior to his death in 2006. She was a teacher's aide at Kemble School. Jacqueline loved doing crafts and shared that passion by teaching classes at A. C. Jack graduated from Rome Free Academy and attended Utica College where he was a member of the ADK fraternity. In 1966 he met Alice Erickson and they were married on August 24, 1968. They spent 55 happy years together and had 2 children, John Jr and Amy, as well as several special pets over the years.
